Sydney Hills Lunar Festival

Thank you to everyone who attended the Sydney Hills Lunar Festival at North Rocks Park on Saturday. The event was a huge success with over 7000 people sharing in the celebrations. To help make next year's event an even bigger success we need your feedback. To provide feedback on the event please complete the Lunar Festival Survey. There are great prizes to be won for those who complete the survey

The Sydney Hills Lunar Festival is back! This vibrant celebration of the Lunar New Year is a free community event and is jam packed with fun and exciting activities for the whole family.

The Lunar Festival has some great activities on offer for kids including face-painting, balloon twisting, craft, pop-up library, photo booth, traditional arts and craft workshops and reverse garbage activities.

And the fun doesn't stop there! Young and old alike will be mystified by fan dancing, traditional Lion Dance and God of Fortune- who will be handing out red envelopes. They'll be amazed by fruit carving and cooking demonstrations. And be delighted by amusement rides, stilt walkers and fireworks.

Held in North Rocks at the North Rocks Park and Don Moore Community Centre, the Sydney Hills Lunar Festival brings the Sydney Hills community together to celebrate diversity and culture with this feast of colour taste and sound.

Celebrate the 2016 Lunar New Year-Year of the Monkey in the Sydney Hills this February.
