Annual Tennis Court Hire Applications
The Hills Shire Council is now accepting applications for annual hire of Council tennis courts for 2012. To make a booking, please contact our Tennis Hotline on (02) 9761 4586 or download

Casual Hire
All tennis court bookings are available for a minimum one hour hire period and in half-hour periods thereafter.
Casual hire can be made for any number of weeks or a series of bookings.
Bookings will be invoiced on the day of making a booking, payment can be taken at the time the booking is made over the phone via credit card-this attracts a 1% surcharge. Access to the tennis court will not be allowed unless all charges are paid in full. Other flexible payment are available if you make a booking in advance.

Conditions of Hire
A minimum 24 hours notice is required to book a tennis court or amend bookings. Hirers making a cancellation on the day of the booking forfeit 100% of their court booking fees. In the case of wet weather preventing play, hirer’s yet to play are entitled to a refund, if you commence play, then no refunds will be provided. In the event play is interrupted for other reasons, the hirer must provide documented evidence that the designated courts were unusable to claim for a credit (i.e maintenance issues).
It is the hirer’s responsibility to assess the facility and playing conditions prior to the bookings and advising Council 24 hours prior to the booked period if they choose to reschedule the booking, if conditions do not suit their preference. If a court booking has not been claimed within 20 minutes of the scheduled time, the court will be re-booked.
The hirer takes full responsibility for any accident or injury incurred during the course of any booking. It is the responsibility of the hirer to vacate the court at the conclusion of their scheduled time.
Keys must be returned at the conclusion of your Court hire
Tennis courts must be left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your Court hire.

Fail to adhere to the above condition may result in a fine or Council refusing to accept future bookings.
Coaching
All coaching on Council tennis courts must be booked by a coach authorised by Council and must provide Council with copies of current coaching certifications, public liability insurance coverage, standard first aid certification and a working with children check.
