Welcome to The Hills Seniors/Older Adults web page

A senior or older adult is anyone over 55 years of age.

By the year 2021 it is forecast that the number of people aged over 65 years  will have had the largest proportional increase.

Many more people in our Shire than ever before will be seniors within the next 10 years.

Services will be required to support older adults to remain active and participate in their community through clubs, associations and volunteer activities.

Services will also be required to provide assistance for people to remain independent in their homes and community or to assist people who are frail aged and/or disabled.

Below is information relevant to Older Adults and Seniors in The Hills including Directories, Hills Community Care and The Hills Shire Access Committee.
