The Salinity Potential in Western Sydney 2002 was prepared by the former Department of Infrastructure, Planning & Natural Resources. The map covers approximately two-thirds of the Shire including all the major urban areas.

In using this map you should note the information provided in the disclaimer that is located in the bottom right-hand corner of the map. The current Department of Natural Resources is responsible for the management of this soil salinity across the State and its website provides an excellent range of documents that provides useful guidance for development on saline soils.
