Pets From The Pound

These animals are kept at Council's Companion Animal Shelter located at Mulgrave for collection by their owners. Unfortunately not all animals can be reunited with their owners or are wanted by them.

Many of these animals make excellent pets. You can save the life of a dog, puppy, cat or kitten by choosing to buy your pet from the Companion Animal Shelter.

Before deciding to make one of these animals a member of your family, please ensure that you have the time and capability to look after it. You should also have a fully fenced yard.

The Shelter is open:

Monday to Friday9.00am to 12.30pm
2.00pm to 4.30pm
Saturday9.30am to 11.30am
Sunday7.00am to 9.00am

Releases are up until half-an-hour before closing.

The Companion Animal Shelter is located at No.10 Mulgrave Road, McGraths Hill, opposite Windsor High School.
