Council is congratulating residents on their excellent waste sorting efforts, after results from a domestic waste audit in September 2010 showed a massive 3 million kg reduction in waste by Shire households. The audit, conducted annually, looks at the composition of rubbish in Council’s waste collection service, and identifies opportunities for further recycling. |
