Pitt Town and Annangrove Roads Receive Safety Upgrades
The Hills Shire Council is working in partnership with the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) to provide safety improvements for residents in the rural parts of the Shire by installing guard fencing, along with various other safety features, at locations on Pitt Town and Annangrove Roads. |

The Hills Shire Council is getting the job done with Operations teams clocking up 9,000sqm of road patching since 1 July 2011. Council’s Road Pavement Maintenance Team has been kept especially busy, after receiving more than 1,175 requests to repair potholes during recent wet weather, while identifying more as they patrolled the Shire. |

Road Closures Due to Ongoing Wet Weather
With the ongoing wet weather there has been a number of recent road closures in the area. Pitt Town Rd and Cattai Ridge Rd are now closed at the bridges over Cattai Creek. McClymonts Rd, Blue Gum Rd and Fairway Drive are also closed. |
