Glenhaven Road Bridge Upgrade

Glenhaven Bridge Roadworks

The Glenhaven Road Bridge upgrade replaced a single lane timber bridge over Cattai Creek. The project involved the re-alignment of Glenhaven Road including a new bridge and approaches to provide an improved connection from Glenhaven and Old Northern Road to Samantha Riley Drive/Green Road and the developing areas of Kellyville and Rouse Hill.

The upgrade has reduced traffic congestion and cut travel times, as well as providing a safer road environment for all road users. The new bridge also provides flood free access across Cattai Creek in the event of a major flood.

The upgrade is 250m in length with a bridge span of 51m at a cost of approximately $5 million. The new bridge is located approximately 250m upstream (east) of the pre-existing timber bridge.
