Can I inspect the venue before making a booking?
Yes. Telephone the number shown for your chosen venue to make arrangements for an inspection.
Can I provide my own catering?
Yes. You can satisfy your own taste, style and budget as well as arrange a caterer or cater for the function yourself. Tables and chairs are provided but there is no kitchen equipment, crockery or cutlery supplied.
Can I decorate the room?
Yes. Please do not use drawing pins or tape. You must make sure that all decorations are completely removed at the end of your function. Balloons must not be attached to ceiling fans.
Can we have alcohol at our function?
Yes. Alcohol may be served at most venues but you must obtain written permission from Castle Hill Police Station. Alcohol is not permitted at Beaumont Hills or Castle Glen Community Centres.
Do I have to pay a bond?
Yes. A bond is required to confirm all bookings. The bond will be refunded after your booking is completed providing there is no damage to the venue and no additional cleaning is required.
What is the latest time available for evening functions?
Most venues must be vacated by 12.00 midnight however the Village Green Community Centre at Bella Vista must be vacated by 10.00pm.
Events at the Council Function Room may be booked until 2.00am and at Castle Grand until 1.00am on Friday or Saturday evenings (must be vacated by 10.00pm on Sunday)
