Draft The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2010
Status
Council at its meeting Tuesday 23 August 2011 resolved to forward the Draft LEP 2010 to the Department of Planning and Infrastructure for finalisation.
It is anticipated that Draft LEP 2010 will be finalised early in 2012.

Draft The Hills Development Control Plan 2011
Draft The Hills DCP 2011 has been developed to support Draft The Hills LEP 2010.
A review of Baulkham Hills Development Control Plan 2005 was undertaken to ensure that the DCP is compatible with the content and structure of the new Draft The Hills LEP 2010 when the plan is made.
Council at its meeting Tuesday 13 September 2011 resolved to adopt Draft The Hills DCP 2011 to come into force upon the date of gazettal of Draft The Hills LEP 2010. View the report and revised sections of Draft The Hills DCP 2011.
Reclassification of Council Owned Land
In conjunction with Draft The Hills LEP 2010, Council proposes to reclassify the following three parcels of Council owned land from 'Community' to 'Operational'.
- Part Lot 202 DP 258563 Cumberland Avenue, Castle Hill;
- Lot 27 and Lot 28 DP 30744, Rembrandt Drive, Baulkham Hills; and
