News from the Ordinary Meeting of Council on Tuesday 26 May, 2009
As the Mungerie House Visitor’s Information Centre at Rouse Hill is taking final shape, Mayor of The Hills Shire, Councillor Larry Bolitho was pleased to open the Mungerie House community facilities section at The New Rouse Hill on Sunday 28 June, 2009.
The most important document to be considered by Council each year, the Management Plan 2009 – 2013 has been adopted by Council.
To commemorate NAIDOC Week 2009 (5 – 12 July), The Hills Shire Council is hosting NAIDOC story time, as well as Liv’en Truth Drama and Hip Hop Workshops.
The Hills Shire Council is urging local residents to make and sustain healthy changes in their lifestyle, in order to reduce the incidence of chronic disease.
