Bidjiwong Community Nursery

Bidjiwong Logo

Bidjiwong Community Nursery is managed by The Hills Shire Council. It is a place where volunteers can learn about the native flora of The Hills Shire, participate in propagating native plants and attend environmental workshops.

Bidjiwong Community Nursery produces local native plants for its revegetation projects in the shire’s parks and reserves and also runs a small permiculture garden. Most of the work within the nursery is carried out by volunteers.

Each year Bidjiwong Community Nursery offers residents of the Hills Shire 4 Free plants (native to The Hills Shire) for their yards.
