Registration Fee for Lifetime
- Entire cat or dog (undesexed) $150.00
- Cat or dog owned by registered breeder $40.00
- Desexed cat or dog $40.00
- Desexed cat or dog owned by pensioner $15.00
- Trained assistance animals - will have to be microchipped and registered but there will be no registration fee.
Penalties
There are increased penalties for offences under the Companion Animals Act, 1998. Some examples are listed below:
